AI-Generated Content Disclaimer

Effective Date: March 22, 2026

The EDified Strategies platform uses artificial intelligence to generate educational content, policy recommendations, and advisory materials. AI-Generated Content is NOT professional advice and should not be relied upon as a substitute for qualified human judgment.

What AI-Generated Content Includes

AI-Generated Content includes policy document recommendations and drafts, lesson plan reviews and suggestions, educational assessment frameworks, curricular recommendations, administrative process suggestions, training material outlines, and other educational materials generated by our AI system.

What AI-Generated Content Is NOT

AI-Generated Content is explicitly not legal advice or legal opinions, professional legal counsel, educational guidance from a certified educator or specialist, medical or health advice, compliance advice (FERPA, Title IX, ADA, state regulations, etc.), professional advice from any licensed specialist, a guarantee of accuracy, completeness, or suitability for your specific situation, or a substitute for human judgment, review, and decision-making.

Your Responsibility

You are solely responsible for reviewing all AI output carefully before any use, independently verifying facts, citations, and recommendations, modifying AI output to fit your specific school, district, students, and community, having qualified professionals (attorneys, certified educators, compliance specialists) review any critical output, exercising your own professional judgment before implementing any AI suggestions, verifying that any output complies with federal, state, and local laws applicable to your school, and never submitting student personally identifiable information (PII) to AI tools.

AI Limitations You Should Know

Artificial intelligence systems have inherent limitations. AI may generate incorrect information, cite non-existent sources, or misrepresent facts. AI may omit important information relevant to your situation. AI may reflect biases present in training data. AI may not fully understand the unique context of your school, district, or community. AI training data has a knowledge cutoff and may not reflect recent changes in law or policy. AI may "hallucinate" and present fictional information as fact.

Liability and Risk

EDified Strategies is not liable for any inaccuracies, errors, or omissions in AI-Generated Content, any negative consequences or damages resulting from reliance on AI-Generated Content, any decisions made based on AI-Generated Content without professional human review, any violation of laws or regulations resulting from use of AI-Generated Content, or any failure of AI-Generated Content to meet your specific needs. You assume all risk associated with your use of AI-Generated Content and any decisions made based on it.

When to Seek Professional Help

Do not rely solely on AI-Generated Content for legal compliance issues (FERPA, Title IX, ADA, state education laws, employment law), policy decisions affecting student rights or safety, special education or 504 accommodations, disciplinary actions or termination decisions, curriculum adoption or major instructional changes, student data security or privacy decisions, or any decision with significant legal, financial, or safety implications. Always consult qualified professionals for these matters.

Our Commitment: Using AI Wisely

EDified Strategies operates according to principles of human flourishing and wise use of AI. The 9 Redemptive Principles guiding our platform affirm that AI should serve human decision-making, not replace it; that qualified professionals must review and approve critical decisions; that we are honest about AI limitations and risks; and that student welfare and safety always take priority over AI efficiency.

Using AI wisely means exercising human judgment. AI is a powerful tool for information gathering and brainstorming, but it should never replace the professional expertise, experience, and moral judgment of educators and leaders.

Before Using AI-Generated Content, Ask Yourself

Have I read the entire output carefully? Does this output make sense in the context of my school and community? Have I verified facts and citations? Have I had a qualified professional review this output? Do I understand the limitations of AI and potential risks? Am I exercising my own professional judgment, or am I blindly following AI suggestions? Are there any legal, safety, or compliance implications I should have reviewed with an attorney or specialist? Am I confident this is the right decision for my students, staff, and school?

If you cannot answer "yes" to all of these questions, do not proceed without additional professional review.
